Cycling isn't just great for burning off those treats; it's also a great way for an all-over body tone-up without putting strain on your joints. Pedalling uses the quads, which tones up thighs; and also the hamstrings at the back of the legs to create a pert bottom. As if that wasn't reason enough to pump up those tyres and get on your bike, the sport also strengthens the back and tones the whole stomach.

Tips: Try riding a little quicker each time to shorten your commute and not only will you get fitter, your lie in will get longer, double bonus.
