Try to get into the habit of reading food labels – and not just the calories. Many products now include nutrition information for fat, saturates, sugar and salt on the front of their packaging to help make it easier to compare different products. Many also show the percentage a typical serving contributes to an adult's Guideline Daily Amount (GDA) for these nutrients, helping you to put them in context of your own diet.
If you can't face an endless diet of lettuce leaves and a boring treadmill to get you feeling fit and healthy for the party season, the TLC Plan from Activia is for you.

Sometimes I will look at the label, mainly if it's not a very healthy option. However I don't always take it into account. But it is interesting to note what some things have and how much salt or sugar you can get in some things!
