Make time in your day to meditate as this restores your body to a calm state, relaxing and clearing your mind. It's really easy - you can go to classes or teach yourself at home. If you're teaching yourself then as a beginner the first three things to learn are:

1. Prepare

Find a quiet room or a place where there is little chance of being disturbed.

2. Breathe

Sit in a comfortable cross-legged position, close your eyes and count to 5 in between each in and out breath, as this will focus your mind and keep your attention, automatically taking you into trance and a meditative state.

3. Keep your mind in the present

While focusing on your breathing don't allow your attention to think about things in the past or what you will do next, just concentrate on what you're doing right now, which is concentrating on your breathing.
