Beat salad boredom

Juliette's nutrition tip : Beat salad boredom

Avoid salad boredom by mixing up the types of ingredients you use. Try using different leaves such as rocket, watercress, baby spinach and different varieties of lettuce. Then think beyond the usual tomatoes and cucumber by adding peppers, sweetcorn, radishes, grated carrot, lightly steamed broccoli, spring onions and mangetout. Adding different herbs like basil, coriander or parsley, and varying the dressings you use can open up a whole new world of flavour.

I don't think I'd ever tire of salads but my boyfriend probably could! I'll definitely try experimenting a bit more.

Adding fresh herbs is a great idea, I have recently started to add mint to my salads which is so refreshing. Kat
