Nicki's fitness tip: Dance moves

Watch just any of the dance shows on TV and you'll see how regular dance classes will increase your fitness and change your body shape in no time. Signing up to any dance class is cheap and social - look out for fast paced dance classes like Ceroc and Salsa which are both brilliant fun and very popular. Classes are often split into beginner, intermediate and advanced so you can work up the scale as you improve. Classes are generally pay as you go so there's no big cash outlay. Why not try one tonight!

And if you love dancing but can't make it to a dance class, you can always do it at home. When the ad breaks come on, just put on your favourite music and start dancing to the rhythm. You can even get down to your personal power-tune while you clean the house!

I do love dancing. Not sure if there's many classes close to where I live so I'll have a look at buying a dance fit type DVD.

I think dancing helps you get fit and healthy.I do it as well as drama at West Yorkshire Theatre Dance Centre on wednesday, friday and saturday.
