Quench your thirst

Juliette's nutrition tip : Quench your thirst

Our bodies can find it hard to distinguish between hunger and thirst with the result that we end up eating when in fact, what we really need is a drink. So next time you have a rumbling tummy, have a glass of water before turning to food - it may be all it takes to fill that gap.

@Helen adding pieces of chopped fruit to ice cubes is a fabulous way of jazzing up a glass of water! I imagine all types of berries work best.

Also good for preventing urinary tract infections and kidney problems...drink even more in warm weather as you lose fluid when sweating, as well as after any kind of prolonged exertion at other times and if working in poorly ventilated rooms/offices/shops etc.
