Tasty salad bowl

Fill a bowl with chopped lettuce, 1 sliced tomato and a small chunk of diced cucumber. Add 2 tbsp of hummus and sprinkle over 1 tbsp of toasted pine nuts.

Hi Janet, There are lots of alternatives that you can consider, and you can even add two or more if you want! Depending on what specific nut allergy you have, e.g. a tree nut allergy, you may be able to eat sunflower or pumpkin seeds. However I recommend checking this with your GP beforehand as allergies can vary. Olives and avocado contain the same healthy fats as nuts, so these are also good alternatives. You can also try roasted soybeans or dried plums. Hope this helps! Dermot@Activia
