Time out to eat

Juliette's nutrition tip : Time out to eat

Rushing meals or eating while racing around can mean you end up swallowing extra air, which ends up in your digestive system, potentially leaving you feeling windy and bloated.

So turn off your computer, switch off the TV and avoid eating whilst you?re on the phone or racing between meetings. Instead, take at least 15 minutes out during the day to enjoy your lunch. And in the evening get friends or family together around the table, put on some music and enjoy good conversation AND good food.

Will certainly try and get away from the computer at lunch times instead of rushing my food.

Sometimes the simplest tips are the most effective! We are all so so busy multi-tasking that we often forget the sheer pleasure of sitting down and focusing on the enjoyment of a tasty nutritious meal :)
