Rushing meals or eating while racing around can mean you end up swallowing extra air, which ends up in your digestive system, potentially leaving you feeling windy and bloated.
So turn off your computer, switch off the TV and avoid eating whilst you?re on the phone or racing between meetings. Instead, take at least 15 minutes out during the day to enjoy your lunch. And in the evening get friends or family together around the table, put on some music and enjoy good conversation AND good food.

I always do this in the evening but not at lunchtime. I always eat my lunch at my desk whilst checking my emails. Good tip. I'll start switching my monitor off while I'm eating lunch.

Good tip. I'm always sitting at my desk trying to eat lunch and answer the phone so I don't get to enjoy my meal. I will definitely be trying this one.

Will certainly try and get away from the computer at lunch times instead of rushing my food.
